Key of G – – – ORIGINAL SONG DOWN BELOW PARODY

Take me out to the Plaza Club

First performed Wednesday, February 19, 2020 – – – written by Robert Andrews

We gather here at the Bistro.   Yes, this is our family.  Sometimes we hug, and sometimes we fight, we still come back here ev’er’y night.
We will sing sing sing to good music.  We don’t event know all the words.  But its fun fun ever’ery’ night at the Plaza Club (or Bistro Bar)

Take me out to see Jesse.   Take me out to Cahoots.  Buy me some scotch and some Chardonay.   I don’t care if the musicians play.
Let me root, root, root for my home team.   Beatitudes is my home.  For it’s one, two, three drinks I’m here at the old bar room.

All I need is just one chance.   I could play a hit song.   There isn’t anyone else like me, maybe I’ll go down in history.
And it’s root, root, root for the music men.   No chance for fortune and fame.   ‘Cause I know that we are all the stars at the Plaza Club

We gather here at the Bistro.    Yes this is our family.   Sometimes we hug, and sometimes we fight.  We can still come back here each night.
We will sing sing sing to good music.   We don’t even know all the words.  But it’s fun fun ev’er’y night at the Plaza Club.

original

Take me out to the ball game.  Take me out with the crowd.  Buy me some peanuts and cracker jack,  I don’t care if I never get back.

Let me root, root, root for the home team, if they don’t win it’s a shame.  For it’s  “one, two, three strikes, you’re out,  at the old ball game.”

All I need is just one chance.    I could hit a home run.   There isn’t anyone else like me.    Maybe I’ll go down in history

And its root root root for the home team.    Here comes fortune and fame.  Cause I know that I’ll be set star at the Old Ball Game

Here comes fortune and fame
